The problem with current market-leading project management solutions is that they're too generic. They're not workflow-based or aimed at specific markets or industries, leaving customers from all walks of life unhappy and in search of something more targeted. When we launched our first private beta, we were amazed by the diversity of people WorkPlace attracted - Distributed IT firms, Design and Development agencies, Real Estate firms, Community Organizations, Civil Engineering firms, and even an Orthopedic Surgeon’s office. Many provided incredibly valuable feedback and loved the core offering, but wanted a few additional features that would fit their specific workflow. They came from Basecamp, Trello and Asana looking for something better. WorkPlace.io is essentially our core PM framework that we will spin-off and slightly customize for multiple industry verticals with minimal additional tech build-out, targeting multiple niche markets on iPhone, iPad and web.
