TheHollywoodShuffle.com is inspired by the film of its namesake and its satirical look at what people of color have to go through to be successful in the entertainment business. This site serves as an inclusive space for music, TV and film coverage for those individuals, whether independent or mainstream, who are hiding in plain sight - Black and Latino artists. TheHollywoodShuffle.com is part Entertainment Weekly and part Hollywood Reporter for a segment of the population that a lot of the time goes unrecognized. Our primary features are formatted in the style of news, interviews, reviews, trend stories, recaps, op-eds and lists. We expect our audience’s age range to be 18-49, male and female. The audience will be interested in entertainment coverage of Black and Latino artists in Hollywood and sometimes the opinions of culture critics. This is not a gossip site. We are based in Los Angeles and New York.
