SmartyPants is an iphone and android app that helps colleges increase retention/graduation rates. The app serves to functions: 1) Study Groups - Students can see what in-person student-created study groups exist for their classes or organize their own in-person study group even before the first day of class. 2) Answers at Any Hour - Students can engage their peers on class news feeds, study group forums or private messages and get quick responses do their questions at any hour using push notifications. Lastly, we provide colleges with data on individual students, demographics and classes that can be used to drive the study and collaboration habits that lead to the academic/social outcomes required for retention/graduation.
