RemitRight’s core product is a cost-comparison website for international money transfers. We offer a simple, intuitive, real-time comparison website that allows users, mostly first-generation immigrants living in the United States, compare fees, exchange rates, payment options, delivery channels, transfer times and reviews so they can easily find the company that offers the best value for them. RemitRight is the first site of its kind to combine real-time data with a high level user experience. We created a MVP (www.remitright.com) in Summer 2014 and tested it extensively. Since then, we received bootstrap funding that will go to paying developers and U/X designers for our launch in February 2015. RemitRight is a double bottom line company that aims to make a social impact while also generating profits. We have the support of the World Bank, the Embassies of Mexico and The Philippines, NGOs, multi-lateral organizations and immigrant community groups.
