LAA is a California licensed and bonded talent agency with an innovative business model. Specializing in representation for composers, musicians, and sound artists, LAA provides talent agency services on a per project basis and at sliding scale commission rates. This approach gives unrepresented artists (the majority of working talent) access to an experienced talent agent without the difficulties associated with old-fashioned agency rosters. LAA has also developed new Procurement Services, providing licensed talent agency negotiation services for lawyers and managers involved in talent deal making. LAA helps clients by pursuing leads and negotiating deals, especially in video games, and including TV, film, and music industry contracts. Recent clients include celebrity composers Hans Zimmer and Lorne Balfe, Cirque du Soleil soloist Tina Guo, and Bay Area audio developer SomaTone Interactive.
