JACQRIOT For better or for worse, JacqRiot’s childhood shaped her musical future….Born Jacqueline Govan in Bellflower, California, it was clear from the get-go that entertainment was in this rock diva’s blood. Similar to most little girls devoted to their father, her life was ripped apart when he inexplicably vanished. He not only left behind the love of a child, but he also crippled her innocence, skewed her ability to trust and damaged any ideas of fairy tale. At the young age of eight, the budding vocalist found herself adrift in an emotional maelstrom. Hurt and confused, she instinctively channeled her anguish into singing and acting.
