I have my 3D printer prototype with a print volume of 16"x16"x16". The final printer I would like to bring to market will have a build volume of 20"x16"x14". With funds in place, I plan on delivering to the public a large format printer with a final price of $2,500.00. There are other companies that have just announced a large printer (smaller than my printer) but they want to charge $6,500.00 plus $500.00 in shipping and they are closed source. Please consider donating to me, I plan on resetting the price in the market place for what a 3D printer should cost so it will be available to everyone. My printer has a hot end that is capable of reaching temps of 350c, this allows printing on numerous materials. My printers are open source, so making alterations and upgrades is easy, the frame is reconfigurable so it can double as a desktop Cnc, laser cutter, engraver and plotter.
