A Software Developer Kit that implements Apple's Parental Gate(s) within Kids' apps. New restrictions and regulations in 2013 have required all apps in the "Kids" section to abide by new rules based on COPPA requirements: No data collection, Privacy Policy, No behavioral advertising, and A parental gate before allowing the user to link out of the app or engage in commerce. For parents, apps that use Barrikida, will be controlled on one centralized dashboard. This dashboard will give parents parental control features [Similar to the Kindle's FreeTime (Curfew, Allotted Playtime, Usage Statistics, Remote Access)]. Currently, the minimum standard safety features for the Kids section are easily bypassed, and they do not offer any extra features that parents want. With Barrikida, the Parental Gate password will be synchronized with the parental control dashboard, allowing for optimal control. Barrikida will benefit developers stand out in a saturated market as well.
