Aketa Foods was founded on a singular idea: use insects as a nutritious, economical, and sustainable food source. Though insects have been a dietary staple since time immemorial, they are all but ignored in the Western world. We seek to convey the value of this novel foodstuff and generate a uniform, useful product for industry and the everyday consumer. Our product is a nutrient rich powder derived from Acheta Domesticus, the common house cricket. We partner with companies across the food industry to use our product as a healthy ingredient to enhance chips, cookies, bread, and more.
